VuNet Systems recognised as Gartner Cool Vendor in Performance Analysis and AIOPs Focus
The advent of digital transformation drives the need for enterprises to look to innova- tive solutions for monitoring and analytics of their IT Infrastructure and Application environments. Though the modern day application infrastructure is fast adapting to digital needs, the tools to manage this transition for IT operations have not. New age IT operations needs the right confluence of next generation monitoring, analytics and automation to deliver the best user experience and to capture critical insights to make right decisions at every level. By leveraging next generation technology and capabilities within their IT environments, organizations can be more proactive, pro- vide faster incident response and improve operational efficiencies through more automation.
As in Gartner’s Cool Vendor for AIOPs report, “By 2022, 40% of large enterprises will use artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) tools to support or replace moni- toring and service desk tasks, up from 5% today.”.
VuNet Systems has been named as a Representative Vendor in the recently pub- lished Cool Vendors in Performance Analysis, AIOps Focus by analysts Padraig Byrne, Will Cappelli, Vivek Bhalla, Pankaj Prasad, Sanjit Ganguli, Yoshifumi Abe
According to the research, “Performance analysis vendors are attacking the growing complexity of IT environments with advanced analytics, scalability and AIOps capa- bilities. I&O leaders should consider how the innovative approaches of vendors in this research can deliver insight into their IT environments”.
Gartner defines “AIOPs platforms are software systems that combine big data and AI or machine learning functionality to enhance and partially replace a broad range of IT operations processes and tasks. These include availability and performance monitoring, event correlation and analysis, IT service management, and automation” The report mentions that recent innovations in this space include the adoption of AI to create data-driven correlations and predictive and preventative analysis, and to iden- tify patterns in large datasets. These innovations allow operators to identify the causes of an issue quickly in some instances, even before service degradation has occurred. Gartner research suggests that this is the largest driver of adoption of AIOps by clients”.
According to the report, “I&O leaders focusing on improving availability and perfor- mance struggle with tools that require extensive skills and have a long time to value, and are seeking novel and innovative solutions to cover the gaps. Performance analysis vendors are responding to the explosive growth of both the amount of per- formance monitoring data and the variety of sources by implementing artificial intelligence approaches to monitoring”
VuNet’s advanced analytics solution completely breaks down the information and tool silos that exist in IT infrastructure and applications operations today. In a first of its kind, the solution intelligently brings together user experience, IT infrastructure performance and business transaction visibility to seamlessly align IT with business objectives. VuNet’s customers have realised 10X operational efficiencies and better end user digital experience, through proactive monitoring, improved application service levels, 90% faster incident response, all with reduced operational cost
