We are looking for an energetic Performance Engineer Lead, who would be responsible for building and leading the performance engineering team. Lead should focus on bringing in Scalability and Reliability improvements of the Product by conducting various performance testing as required. You must be an excellent problem solver and communicator who is passionate about bringing in strong Performance Testing Strategies, Team and implementing new tools and frameworks. You will be responsible for delivering a high-geared product and exceeding customer expectations. We need self-learning, self-starters who can bring in good change and be part of building a World-Class product with continuous improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Building and leading a strong performance engineering group/team.
  • Working closely with different teams like Product Management, Development, QA, Solution teams to create good Non-Functional Requirements for the product and aligning the Performance Engineering team’s goal and testing accordingly.
  • Flag down potential performance issues and provide technical assistance and advice to ensure smooth system performance in the development stage.
  • Involved in designing, developing and Performance test plans for scenarios including scalability, benchmarking, and performance for Web based modules, Mobile applications and APIs.
  • Bringing in innovations and robust automation with respect to the Non-functional testing wherever required for high availability and scalable products, reusable and can be integrated into CI/CD.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Total Experience - 7-8 years in Testing. Which includes 3-4 years in Performance Testing and 2-3 years as Team lead.
  • Expertise in performance engineering test methodologies & Develop/Prepare performance Test Approach document.
  • 3+ years solid recent experience in performance testing with Jmeter. Experience in other tools also is preferred.
  • Ability to understand NFRs and translate them into specific Design and Testing goals & build a strategy to validate NFRs Test Plan and Test Strategy.
  • Expertise to create required test data and data management.
  • Hands-on experience in resolving Technical Issues.
  • Good skills to understand applications including the underlying architecture and technology stack to recommend appropriate strategies.
  • Expertise is creating test beds, test data test and artifact management.
  • Ability to effectively execute the testing strategy.

Good To Have
  • Work/Manage on QA Deliverables such as Test Scenarios, Test Script Design, Test Execution and Test Reports etc.
  • Knowledge/Experience in the following technologies : Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kafka, Apache Spark, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, Docker Containers, Shell/Python Scripting, Cloud, CI/CD pipeline, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in resolving Technical Issues.
  • Good Domain understanding - Infrastructure and Application.
  • Experience in using Mobile Performance Testing.
  • Certifications(any one of it) - ISTQB-Specialist Foundation Level Performance Testing, Apache JMeter Pro, Certified JMeter Tester.
